Cleansing, Healthy Lifestyle and Weight Loss

Oh, how many times you’ve heard about the benefits of cleansing? That is cleansing of your gut, so that your body could get rid of toxins and by-products produced by your body, and rejuvenate itself?

This task should not be taken lightly!

Being a vegetarian and consuming a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables on the daily basis, and leading an active lifestyle, I am not that big user of cleansing with pills and colonix.

Again, it’s not that I am against it, I just do my own cleansing using fresh veggies with their natural juices and fibers.

Well, I do my continuous research of what’s out there in the market place in terms of healthy products for the body. Several months ago, I came across the DrNatura’s cleansing system. After doing my due-diligence in researching what that system does, I thought it would be interesting to try it out on myself.

A couple weeks later I was offered this product for testing. Here’s what I found out based on my own body’s reaction.
1. The cleansing system by DrNatura consists of 3 products:
• Paranil, an herbal liver and colon purifying complex
• Colonix, intestinal cleanser, and
• KleriTea, for regularity and detoxification

2. As I already had a good understanding of all the ingredients in all three products, I still decided to test each product separately first. This is necessary to find out if I would have any adverse reaction to any of the products.

3. I tried each product separately for two days each. Paranil and Colonix felt great. When it came down to trying KleriTea, I had a very severe reaction: I was dizzy and nauseous. So, I decided not to take this product.

NB: I tried to re-introduce KleriTea on my 10th day of the program, but I felt very dizzy and nauseous again. So, KleriTea was out for good.

4. I made notes for each day on how I felt.

5. I took Paranil and Colonix in the morning every day for 30 days. The overall experience was positive.

6. I drank plenty of water (recommended 8 glasses).

7. I did not feel any, so to say, break-throughs. I did not feel any negative side-effects. My body guided me in this whole process. If KleriTea was not accepted, I just continued taking Paranil and Colonix.

This product is designed to clean and detoxify the body’s intestinal tract. I do hope that’s what it did. Based on the ingredients for both products, this product gently did its job.

8. What I liked about this product is:

• It is Vegetarian
• Every single ingredient in the product is very well researched and tested separately by • the holistic and medical communities
• It is very easy to take and is gentle on the body

9. Who could use this product?

Those who would like to feel better, lighter, and improve their intestinal flora, and overall health.

With cleansing, many wonderful things can happen to our bodily health. Cleansing and detoxification are a must for anybody who cares to live a happy, productive, and inspiring life.

DrNatura’s Cleansing system is gentle on the body. With the exception of KleriTea, my body took other two products really well.

This is my short report on the subject of Cleansing and Detoxification for a better and healthier life with results of natural weight loss. Those of you who went through your own cleansing process, please share with us your experiences.

Thank you for being my readers.

Weightloss Motivation Tips by Jen Ryan, The Mooloolaba Founder

This is regular section where I ask the interviewee about their preferences, tips, wishes about their lifestyle that keeps them going.

Healthy weight maintenance is very important to not only live a happy, active life, but also to run your own business successfully.

Every woman does it differently, based on her experience, her knowledge, her focus in life. I asked Jen Ryan how can she be so successful and still find time to look and feel great. Here’s what she said.
*****
CelebrateWoman (CW)  Jen, have you had your weight challenges in your life, especially when you got involved with your business?

Jen Ryan (Jen) I did not have any difficulties maintaining my healthy weight in my life. My love for sports, active lifestyle, great living food of vegetables and fruit, plus fish supported me and my body for a long time.

Being in business and very busy, I still find time for healthy foods and exercise.

CW  What is the #1 tip for weight loss motivation for yourself?

Jen  Do something active every single day. At least 30 minutes of exercise for me on hte daily basis.

I am really aware what I put into my mouth food-wise. I do not eat deep fried foods at all.

And of course, portions, portions, portions! We do not need to eat ten pounds of food in one sitting!

CW  Any personal word for all my women-readers who do care about healthy weight and vibrant lifestyle?

Jen  Try to do something for yourself that makes you feel alive and supports your self-motivation.

It takes some self-training to “schedule” time for your own needs and wants. Do it without delay and hesitation.

Be conscious what you and your thoughts do to your own body. Stress, worries will only prolong your miserable existence. When you are at peace within, you make decisions that solve any critical situation no matter what. You are a winner, no less, no more.
*****
With Jen’s attitude about the importance of staying in peace with ourselves, all dreams are possible. Let’s celebrate our ability to release all the worries and find peace inside.

With that, the sky’s the limit!

Celebrate Yourself Today.

Weight Loss Motivation Tips by Business Woman Kathy Taylor, Vibranz

RECAP: Kathy Taylor is a co-founder of the fermented tea – Kombucha – company called Vibranz [‘vai brans]

As any business woman, Kathy is determined to stay in shape and in good health to move her life, and the company, forward big time.
Here’s what Kathy shared with me on the subject of her personal weight loss motivation every day of her life.
*****
CelebrateWoman (CW) Have you had your own weight loss challenges along the way, especially when you started being intensely involved with Vibranz?

Kathy Taylor (Kathy) I’ve been an activist of healthy and active life style all my life. I’ve been enjoying biking and yoga for the past 25 years. And yes, I love good foods, but I always make low fat, living food (salads, fruit, veggies) choices all the time.

When I focus on big projects like Vibranz, I tend to skip meals and even exercise. But what gets me back on track is my clothes size. Once it’s a tight fit, I need to pay more attention to what I eat and what I do.

CW What is your #1 tip for weight loss motivation for yourself?

Kathy My #1 tip is my clothes size. Once I cannot freely fit Size 8 of my pants – time to take steps to quickly remedy this situation. And I start without waiting an extra day. I do it Now.

I always know I cannot deceive myself by camouflaging the situation by a bigger clothes size or not being physically active.

My #2 tip is Fall in love with fruit and vegetables. These are whole foods rich in fiber, phytonutrients, minerals. They sustain me and provide a great snack and side dish.

CW Any personal word for all my women readers who go through their weight loss and weight management issues?

Kathy I used to beat myself up by being inconsistent in my weight loss situations. You can reverse your situation of unhealthy weight! And you can start Now! That’s what I learned controlling my weight.

Even at my age, I am at the same weight when I was in my mid 20’s. This is something I truly appreciate and take care of: my health and healthy weight. I wouldn’t be able to run my business successfully and vibrantly if my weight were out of proportion with my needs and demands.

How Do I Control What I Eat? Weight Loss Motivation Tips by Yvonne Busbee, XtremEarth

Any woman wants to look and feel great. When you are running your own business in addition to your home and family obligations, keeping in touch with who you are and managing your healthy weight are important challenges of your every day.

Every business woman has her own approach to these questions. We are so grateful for their sincere sharing of their personal life matters.
*****
CelebrateWoman (CW) Have you had weight challenges along the way, especially when you started being involved with your business?

Yvonne Busbee (Yvonne) The weigh challenge came upon me when I had hysterectomy. The first time in my life I realized how difficult it was to maintain my healthy weight. I’m struggling with it all the time.

However, I do find it very rewarding when I made a decision to watch what I eat and exercise more. That combination is a powerful duo for me.

CW What is the #1 way you motivate yourself to control your weight?

Yvonne My Number 1 motivation to lose weight is my confidence and self-esteem. When I am at my right weight, it gives me more motivation to do more in life. Frankly, when weight is creaping up, it’s depressing. But with discipline and conviction I get to my goal.

CW What would you tell my women readers who go through their own weight management issues in their busy lives?

Yvonne Each person is unique. What works for one, may not be completely applicable for another.

Each woman needs to know herself and what works for or against her in controlling her healthy weight.

Definitely, love your body! Treat it right at any point of life! Being overweight is not pleasant. Take action to change that state of mind and body. Just know that you are who you are, and that you do have power to motivate yourself towards a healthy, beautiful you. Again. One time more.

Weight Loss Motivation Tips by Harshita Lohia, The Silk Designer Guru

RECAP: Harshita Lohia has mastered a unique technique of creating masterful designs on silk. Her wear pieces exude colorful happiness and joy for everyone who takes a chance to wear them.

Being in business and leading a super intense schedule daily, I invited Harshita to share with all of us how she manages to stay fit and healthy.

CelebrateWoman (CW)
Have you had your weight challenges along the way, especially when you started being involved with your business?

Harshita Lohia (Harshita) Yes. I have slow metabolism. I need to remind myself to eat when I get really busy with my projects.

Staying fit and healthy is my priority. If I want to create for a long time, I need to be healthy and strong inside. Weight loss management has always been a priority to me.

CW What is your Number 1 tip for weight loss motivation for yourself?

Harshita My motivation is to have health and vigor in order to keep doing what I am. The  tip I use for myself is to eat frequently. I am a vegetarian. Getting plenty of fruit and vegetables is my priority.

Plus I am a believer in physical activity. Being as crazily busy as I am, this can be challenging. Still, I strive to get in shape no matter what.

Oh, yes, plenty of water every day keeps me alive and energetic.

CW Any personal word for all my women readers who go through their weight loss and weight management issues?

Harshita Live your life Stress Free. Is it possible? No. But we have a lot of tools available to us which we need to adopt, adapt to, and exercise in getting rid of stress.

Stress produces unhealthy desires for food munching and eventually makes us lethargic and inactive in our life’s endeavors.

I think that food should be an inspiration and fuel for our creative work, rather than being a comfort to mask problems we need to overcome. We eat to be healed, not get unhealthy.

Weight Loss Tips from the Guru Mama

Being in business, developing and managing a huge creative process does bring time constraints on where priorities lie. Fitting exercise and healthy eating can be far from being easy.

How does Julianna Shaw takes control of her healthy weight loss and management? Let's visit with her  ask our favorite questions.

CelebrateWoman (CW) Have you had your weight challenges along the way, especially when you started being involved with your business?

Julianna Shaw (Julianna) Most definitely. I started this business shortly after having my 2nd daughter, and I still had the extra baby weight to lose.

Since time was limited, I really had to make exercise a priority in order to fit it into the day. I did that by making sure I scheduled it on the calendar and with a friend to make sure I showed up.

CW What is your #1 tip for weight loss motivation for yourself?

Julianna It’s all about health. I know when I exercise and eat right I feel better and have a better attitude.

CW Any personal word for all my women readers who go through their weight loss and weight management issues?

Julianna I’m a believer in being kind to yourself. We all have drama and stress throughout our lives, and it’s very easy to be unkind.

Like everyone, bite size goals are important, and so is celebrating success (something I’m learning to do).

I also think that a little change in mindset can really help – instead of just thinking about losing weight as the goal, switch the goal around to be about making healthy choices and living a healthy life. Less pressure often times means greater results.

Weight Loss Motivation Tips by Mareya Ibrahim, The Eat Cleaner Creator

These weight loss motivation tips come from a super busy and amazingly successful woman. Mareya Ibrahim of Eat Cleaner shares them with all of us.

CelebrateWoman (CW) Have you had your weight challenges along the way, especially when you started being involved with your business?

Mareya Ibrahim (Mareya) My challenges were more around making the right food choices. It’s just too easy to grab whatever is in front of you when you’re starving.  But a little planning goes a long way.  Packing raw almonds, freshly washed and cut fruit and vegetables really help you get through the temptation of the vending machine!

CW What is your #1 tip for weight loss motivation for yourself?

Mareya For me, it’s about maintenance. If you can maintain your weight consistently and not worry about the yo-yo effect, which is so bad for your body, it works out better all around.  Once you train your body to love clean eating and exercise, you live it.  Processed, filler foods become a thing of the past.

CW Any personal word for all my women-readers who go through their weight loss and weight management issues?

Mareya Don’t be sabotaged by fad diets and quick fixes. Maintaining a good weight is not as tricky as everyone makes it out to be.

• Fill your plate with lots of fresh, simply made food.
• Eat at least one plate of salad a day and learn to love it without heavy dressings.
• Enjoy meatless meals and focus on nutrient dense ingredients, like kale, broccoli, and other greens, as well as whole grains (when it comes to grains, brown is better than white, always!)
• And drink tons of water with lemon.  If you never drink another soda again, that would be a great thing – even diet is bad for you.
• And make sure to move.  At least 20 minutes every day, get your heart rate up, even if it’s a brisk walk around the neighborhood. There’s never more fun than sharing so, find a friend to support your mission and help each other become successful and accountable.

PS: If you have any questions to Mareya, please leave them in the comments below. She will definitely read and answer them.
PPS: If you know a woman-entrepreneur who has created healthy product(s), please let me know, so we could spread the word about her and her contribution to this planet.

Weight Loss Motivation Tips by Jacqueline Lawrence, The Powerful Colic Calm Mom and Business Woman

Being a woman in a big successful business, raising children, and taking care of her body and soul are NOT an easy task to do day after day, after day. Would you agree?

You know it very well just by trying to feed your family healthily and nutritiously on a daily basis, don’t you?

Being a mom and a huge fan of everything that helps me to live my life greener, healthier, lighter, I asked Jacqueline to share her tips of her vibrant and busy lifestyle.

CelebrateWoman (CW) Jacqueline, have you had your weight challenges along the way, especially when you started being involved with your business of creating Colic Calm?

Jacqueline Lawrence (Jacqueline) It is not easy to stay on track with all my lunches, and dinners, and breakfasts. I always forget to eat. Besides, I find it challenging to find time for exercise during the busy schedule.

What I found out that I had to plan everything I do. Once I schedule it, I follow through.

When I see my weight creep up, I start watching it more closely, and it gives me motivation to be more disciplined with my routine.

CW. What is your #1 tip for weight loss motivation for yourself?

Jacqueline. I motivate myself by giving me, Jacqueline, personal time for myself. Painting is my hobbi that I reward myself with. Finding little things, big things that motivate will keep you going creatively in business as well.

CW. Any personal word for all my women readers who go through their weight loss and weight management issues?

Jacqueline. I have a few to share.
  1. Stick to your schedule
  2. Keep your blood sugar level normal by eating good foods like vegetables, fruit, lean proteins, grains
  3. Keep your kitchen free of junk foods
  4. Mini meals during the day
  5. Light dinner. My favorite is fish with any veggies
  6. Stick to a regular exercise routine and vary it
I find that all of the above  do keep me healthy and energized. These lifestyle measures are of the utmost importance to me. If I don’t take care of my body, the rest won’t be taken care of.

The last, but not the least, get good night’s sleep.

Please leave your questions to Jacqueline Lawrence, the Colic Calm inventor in the comments below
