Momo’s Piggery Offers Adoptions of Piggerians ~ Review & Giveaway 2/14

Adoptions. Whether it’s a human or animal adoption, both are deserving and bring so much needed love and care to all sides and parities involved in this generous process.

What’s needed in this exclusive and complicated subject is ample education and support of the infrastructure that helps to amplify understanding of adoptions and their fulfillment.

For the past decade, I have met dozens of people who adopted kids, great danes, Italian grey hounds, cats of all sort of “walks of life.” Personally, I have adopted two Cornish Rexes: Zizi and Roma.

Zizi was saved from the abusive environment that did not allow him to move and develop properly in a sense that he knew he’s a CAT, not a bird or a fish or else. When I picked him up 300 miles away, he was a silly obese, bald cat who didn’t know where he was.

In the past six years, he’s developed into such impressive character that he is true Cornish with a happy home to live in.

Roma, my other adopted rexy, was saved from physical abuse that took place daily. It took us almost the whole year of love and care, and encouragement for Roma at last open up and start showing, and then showering us with his love. It’s incredibly touchy.

Today, Roma is one of the most loving, allowing, trusting cats I’ve ever seen.

Just recently, I was introduced to a woman who saves guinea pigs. Her name is Monica Hsieh. Look at this gallery of her gorgeous piggies!

Robby Wash Laundry Ball: Blue for Cold/Hot Water Wash, Pink is for Cool Water Washes

When I received this small and compact Robby Wash blue ball and read the instructions before its use, I was absolutely taken back with what I had read. So, I re-read the instruction sheet one time more just to make sure I understood it well.

The surprising element that “got” my attention was that this compact wash ball would last me for ONE Full Year of laundry or the equivalent of 200 washes. To me, it’s huge!

Another significant biggie that this blue wash ball carries within is that it’s based on pure chemical technology of positive and negative ions that are activated during the wash cycle. Though this is a patented technology, meaning that the Oransi company has developed it specifically for this type of product, the principal is a very well known fact: Once activated macromolecules are released into a laundry pack of yours during the wash cycle, they cling onto dirt. Due to all this motion-comotion inside your washer, the dirt comes off much easier than it would have without using Robby Wash laundry ball.

What I find puzzling is why the majority of us take the overall care of our bods, and hair do’s, and nails. But sometimes, we really miss something that truly needs our attention.

The subject of interest in this case is our feet. To be more specific, the soles of our feet.

Personally, I have tried a lot of products to smooth the skin on the bottom of my feet and heels. Some of them were better than others. Then I got a chance to test a Microplane Foot File with its patented technology for tough calluses and dry skin.

One evening, when the kids were in bed and I had my time for my thing, I decided to use Microplane’s invention and see the results with my own eyes.

I tried their Paddle-shaped foot file in Pink. It was really easy to open and figure out what to do. Though, I did read the instructions. And was it helpful! One very important thing in this process is to use this foot file on DRY skin! Without this tip, I would have used some water. Always read the instructions!

Oh, My! In about five minutes – well, I just took time, gals – the true colors of my skin on the bottom of my foot soles were revealed. I put some oil onto my toes, onto my heels. I felt Fantastic! And yei, there was a lot of dead skin collected in the container within my new fab foot file. No wonder my baby skin was literally buried under it.

(Severine)Yes. I have been eating healthy foods all of my life (born and raised in southern France) and good food is essential to my mental balance. Being active, feeling energized and satisfied that I've done my share of physical exertion for a day is important to me. I like to look for more variety of training available in the virtual world. And one of the last discoveries for me personally was a so called "surge training" or "burst training."

Basically, it is a short and very aerobic exercise that can be done in the convenience of my home, if I wish. But I do various elements of surge training at the gym as well.

The only trick is – Being Consistent!

Do You Have The Right Tools On Your Blogger Desk? ~ Swingline SmartTouch Product Review

As this world goes round at a-greased-lightening speed, with computers and “i”-Branded products becoming a norm, we still need some very simple tools to complete our daily tasks and projects that will look and feel professional.

One of the best used office supplies in my household is a stapler. We use it so frequently for our kid’s pre-school projects.

Another reason a good stapler is a must is my personal stapling habits of business papers, personal papers, bills, receipts, expense reports. You name it, I have to do at least one of them every day.

That said and done Celebrate Woman has received a Swingline SmartTouch Stapler and a box of Swingline Premium Chisel Point Staples to test and to deliver her opinion to the public view.

Out of the box and into the preparation mode it went! Oops, I could not figure out for a few moments how to load my precious staples into this nifty looking tool. It took me some thinking to do first. And when I reached out for Instructions, there was no instruction sheet to be found anywhere. This is weird. Even the simplest of things come with instructions these days.

As I do like companies who implement eco-friendly procedures, I would recommend Swingline to write the Staples Installation Instructions on one of the panels of the stapler box. That will work!

At last, I located a knob at the other end of the stapler that pushes the empty staples cartridge out of the stapler. I loaded wonderful new Swingline Premium Chisel Point Staples into the empty channel and pushed the cartridge back – OOOPs. It’s jammed. I thought I was doing really something wrong. But then after careful examination and testing and pulling the jammed cartridge out, I thought it was the cartridge itself that did not have that smooth movement. To make it work, I loaded only 50% of staples into the stapler.

Everything was ready for further testing!

I loved the looks of my new Swingline stapler! It is smooth and very ergonomically built. I put it on my desk for a couple of days to test how easy it is to grab, to orient, to staple papers made from different media.

In addition, I allowed my 4-year-old to staple his small projects on his desk. He could easily staple his paperwork without lifting the SmartTouch stapler. By pushing the upper lever of the stapler, he was happy to find his papers stapled in no time! That is great news!

25 Sheets Capacity – It's Great!

Another feature to boast about is the stapler’s 25 sheet capacity. I was very excited to see that on a carton box! I put it to the test, and the stapler performed well: nicely and smoothly.

Please write neat and short usage instructions on one of the panels on the package in which the stapler arrived. Without it, the product may be easily broken, and you’ll have to deal with all kinds of product exchanges. It’s no fun.

SKOY Cloth, Biodegradable, Re-Usable, Eco-Friendly

What is Skoy, you’ll ask? I didn’t know myself what it was just a few weeks ago. But today, I am a true believer and a user of magical re-usable Skoy cloths.

The Skoy clothes were designed to clean anything and everything that requires a cloth touch. Personally, I found them perfect for the kitchen and bathrooms. Just make sure you dedicate one cloth for each area and keep it there! However, you can disinfect Skoy cloths in microwave or dishwasher without doing any harm to a cloth itself.

My Skoy cloth when used in the kitchen really cleans the countertops like nothing else. I tested Skoy cloth with and without natural cleaner. With water, Skoy works almost as well as with the cleaning solution in it!

Another great feature of Skoy is that it doesn’t leave any streaks on shiny surfaces. My built-in stove is now cleaned by Skoy cloth with water only. That’s amazing to me!
